Our Sales Venue at the Durham Farmers’ Market

Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 is the date of our last appearance at this year’s Central Durham Farmers’ Market, where we’ll be attending until mid-October.  Look for us in mid-March, 2019.

We’re located just outside the Pavilion, on the north side sidewalk (towards the craft vendors, and the Durham Bulls practice field), just around the corner from Four Leaf Farm.  If you can’t find us, ask the Market Managers about our exact whereabouts (their table is located by the Rest Rooms).  Some few Saturdays in July/August we might not be attending, so check the “News” section on our Welcome Page.

Don’t hesitate to contact us about anything — our whereabouts at the Market, or the availability of our products.  (Phone is better than email, but texting is good too.)  We can deliver or arrange for a pick-up.  If you’re interested in buying worms:  It’s best to contact us and ask us to reserve worms for you since we often run out …

The time schedule and exact venue of the Central Durham’s Farmers’ Market are:

Saturdays, 8 AM to 12 Noon.  Sales can occur “before the bell,” and we usually are setting up as early as 6:30 AM.

Central Durham Farmers’ Market is located at the Pavilion at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster Street, in the heart of downtown Durham (just northwest of the YMCA and just south of the Durham Bulls practice field).  Their website is:  http://durhamfarmersmarket.com/

  1. Will you have one of your vermicomposting buckets with you at the Durham Farmers Market next Saturday? And where are you located at the market?

I’m interested in putting some vermicomposting in our hoop house, if they will stay warm enough over the winter and not too hot in the summer?

    1. Yes every Saturday through the fall (except last two Saturdays in August) at the Central Durham Farmers Market 8AM -noon. We’re north of the roofed Pavillion area.
