INGREDIENTS

The reason for the superiority of OurCompost™ Premium Worm Castings is simple: What goes in, comes out!  Only the best, most pure and appropriate organics go into the compost-castings mix that turns into our very own brand of vermicompost.

The nitrogen-rich ingredients of our worms’ diet include fruits, vegetables  and pre-composted manure. No meat or dairy are included. Contents include organic vegetable and fruit waste, oak leaves, local coffee grounds, farm-raised eggshells, and organic grains.  In addition, NewSoil partners with local farms and food pantries to recycle produce scraps and horse manure. Ingredients are thoroughly mixed and pre-composted at temperatures averaging 142 degrees in large windrows for 3-6 months prior to feeding to our worms. This ensures a stable, pathogen-free blend of high-quality compost feed. Once fed to the worms, they process it to create an even richer mix of castings high in beneficial microbes and nutrients for your planting needs.
